lil’ iffi is a work in progress. she is growing into her own person. At the beginning her life was rather colorless and undefined as a only a sketch. She had a slow start, not breaking out of the sketch pad for months. I determined iffi was a character worth exploring. With the drawing pared down I took the next illogical step (I had never had constructed a doll before) I began turning her into a doll. Starting from the feet up I wrapped my thinking around her shape. Once she had shape, color she need to move to animate which meant using 3D software. I chose Cheetah because I could figure at least the modeling part out. And now, like anyone who is part of today’s culture, she is on a blog. This one. More to come……
