Remember how lil iffi tried to make a cake but didn’t know what to put in the bowl. She only knew she needed a bowl and a spoon. But she figured it out with the help of her friends & family. She used this recipe……
CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
3 eggs
1 (21 oz.) can Wilderness cherry fruit filling
Combine cake mix, eggs and cherry filling. Mix until well blended. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Frost when cool.
FROSTING:
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
In a small saucepan combine sugar, butter and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate pieces, until melted and smooth. Spread over cake.
